GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" August 6, 1995 - No. 17 

Well, it's certainly pleasing to report on three winning footy games and of course a winning netball side. After the Senior side going through the doldrums for the last 3 games the fellas put it all together at long last and played 4 quarters for the entire game which certainly put the smile back on Joker's and Phil's face.
Our Under 18's continued on their winning way and improved as the game progressed. The incentive winners were Glen Vaccari $20, Adrian Sparks $ 20, and Kevin Collins $10. Others good players were Bill Furner and Stuart Davies.
The 2nds got back on the winners list and kept Craig's and the team's aim alive. All the side has to do now is keep winning and putting pressure on the guys in the firsts. Incentive award winners were Richard Telfer $30, Brent Hathaway $20, Steve Cochrane $10, the players' player award to Ron Irvin, Drinkers Mug to Myles Bunn and the coaches award to Brent Harrison for backing up from the Under 18's. 
The Seniors went out knowing that another loss would really upset their finals chances, but they finally put the 4 quarters together that's required to win matches. In doing so they have hopefully found the way to continue on their winning way. Incentive award winners and best players were Danny Files $100, and players' player, Jamie Bennett $50, Ricky Burdett $30 and Greg Collins $20. Other good players being Matt Cox & Dean McGowan.
Our A Grade Netball lady also had a strong win 19-16 but no real details.
This week it's East Wagga-Kooringal, so let's repeat the first round!
