GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" May 11, 1986 - No. 5 

Last Sunday proved something to the Griffith supporters that the Swans are a good side. The selectors must have had a hard time picking best players out of such an even side, as each player did his share. In a close one, Darrell Collins won the 'Donalds Country Kitchen' dinner for two award.

Terry Bennett's 2nd XVIII sneaked home for a win which now has them in the four. Their award winner was Roy Agresta.

The Under 19's, with many changes, could not quite keep up with the East Wagga-Kooringal boys and thus missing out on making it three out of three for the Swans. The best player on the day for the Under 19's was David Bardney.

Let's go for the trifecta of wins today against Ardlethan. Up The Swannies.
