GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" August 15, 1993 - No. 15

The worst day in the history of the club is the only way to describe last Sunday's effort against Ganmain-GGM. Apart from the Under 18's, who had a good win, the rest of the day was not a pretty sight. Having to forfeit the Reserves for the first time in the club's history, after having only 8 players available doesn't show much promise for the club's Reserve Grade for the rest of the year, unless a few players decide to show a bit of commitment towards Mark O'Bryan and the club.

The Under 18's had a good win with our best players being Mark Henderson, Graham Foley, Glen Vaccari, Michael Reid, Matt Rovere and Damon Clark.

The 1st Grade were completely outgunned by a running Ganmain. With our continued run of injuries, this time Stu Egan, our playing numbers have been eroded. When you consider that when we played Ganmain in the first round we had 17 players in our team on the team sheets that didn't play last weekend - an understanding of how our strength in player numbers becomes apparent. Our best players were Greg Dreyer (mug and $100), Jamie Bennett $50, Mark Brown $30 and Jason Wescott $20.

This week it's East Wagga, so let's get some wins on the board!
