GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" April 17, 1983 - No. 2 

I would say all that can be said this week about the Swans poor showing at Wagga. The 1sts award generously donated by 'The Record Centre' was won by Jamie Robinson. The 2nds trophy 'The Fred Holt Memorial' trophy was won by Greg Hill narrowly from Mark Tyndall and Phil Purtill. The Under 19's trophy donated by a great supporter of the club Bill Bock was won by Graham Lyons from Andrew Romagnolo and Simon Hicks. To these donors we say thank you again for your support of our club and players.

Since last week we have a change Under 19's coach. Glenn Harrison who was appointed captain of the Firsts stepped down from the Under 19's coaching position and this is being filled by John Bordignon. John has been a great worker for the club.

We invite our visitors and supporters to join us in our club rooms after the game, where refreshments are available, everyone welcome.
