GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" July 24, 1994 - No. 15
Well, there's not much to say about last week's effort again Ganmain-GGM, other than to say that they wanted to win more. Best players were David Eichler who picked up the $50, Andrew Barber the $100, Shane Ruyg, Chris Conlan, Tim Fraser $20 and Greg Dreyer $30.
The Seconds continued their improvement and after a very competitive first half fell away due to lack of training no doubt. Best players were Brent Harrison who backed from the U18s and kicked 3 goals. He picked up the $30, while Myles Bunn collected the $20, and Ron Irvin continued his good form to collect the $10. Others to play well were Michael Reid and Richard Telfer.
Our only winning side was the Under 18's who continued their battle to hold down fourth spot, so if they keep playing with the determination of last week, they will achieve that aim. Best players were Wayne Donetto $25, Matt Kenny $15, Matthew Thompson $10, also Glen Vaccari, Craig Browne and Glen Collis played well. The U18s incentive awards were sponsored by the Burke Family.
Our Netball girls also came to a stop, going down to Ganmain-GGM 36-29. Our best were Kirsty Collis and Kathy Bourchier.
