GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" April 30, 1995 - No. 4

For the first time this season the club collect 4 wins, let's hope that there are plenty more days like it this season.
The Under 18's side kept up the good work from the Turvey Park game and came away with a good win. The Area News sponsored winners were Matt Rovere $20, Matt Kenny $15, and Brent Harrison $10. Other good players were Dean Leask and Glen Vaccari.
The Reserves finally had a win and with the number of players at training the pressure looks to be on to maintain a place in the side which is what a healthy football club is all about. Maybe Aaron 'Porky' O'Keefe should be concentrating on goal kicking after returning the figures of 1-9 and two out bounds. Best players were Brent Hathaway who picked up $30 and the Mug for players player, Myles Bunn $20 and Richard Telfer $10, Greg Dreyer and Craig Bretherton also had good games.
The Seniors returned to the winners list against Mango and also had trouble finding the tall timber so goal kicking practice could be on all week. Swampy Davis, Gabby Weetra, Billy McGowan and Shane Ruyg also there. The Shane Best incentive award winners were Dean 'Billy' McGowan $100, Malcolm Burke $50, Danny Files $30 and Tony Butcher $20.
The girls also had a win, but details were not available.
This week it's Wagga Tigers so let's get stuck in and come away with another 4 wins.
