GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" June 30, 1990 - No. 11

The wins against Ariah Park-Mirrool. In 1st grade: 8 goals in the first quarter then fairly even for the next three quarters. Andrew Romagnolo 9 goals had to see it to believed it, got more kicks and took more marks in the game than he has for the last four seasons. Well done, Romo. The S.L.P.I. awards were Damien Scott, Andrew Romagnolo, Mark O'Connor and Darren Prest.

The 2nd grade had a good first quarter then struggled for the remainder of the game. For a team in the four - not very impressive. Best players were Garry Waters and Jamie Reid, also thanks to Jason Vaccari from the Under 18's for helping out.

The Colonial Day set down for Sunday has been cancelled. Don't forget our Golden Chopsticks Night on the Thursday, 12th July - sensational last year, only 65 tickets so hurry! Kelly Bennett is our R.F.L. entrant for 1990. Thanks Kelly, you're past the post already.

Today East Wagga. Another hard game. We need three wins! Up The Swans!
