A summary of match report, with thanks
The Griffith reserves graders took one further step towards a RFL grand final appearance with a 62-point thrashing of Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong. The Swans did not allow the third-placed Lions to kick a goal and ran out resounding winners 66 to 4. It was a consistent effort from the Swans, who kicked two goals two behinds in both the first and second quarters while the Lions to a point a quarter.

There was still a possibility of a second half comeback from the Lions but it was not to be as the Swans ran in three third-quarter goals to seal the game. Matt Kenny was full of run on the wing and provided plenty of drive into the forward line, while Chris Conlan proved to be the general through the midfield. Gary Argus at times moved out to centre half forward and provided a solid focal point and Kris Duncan and Jamie Bennett provided run throughout the ground.
