A summary of match report, with thanks
Griffith scored their biggest win of the season as they enjoyed a 100-point thrashing of Narrandera on Saturday. The Eagles had shown improvement over the past fortnight, but the Swans were quick to put them back in their place, running out big winners 21.14 (140) to 5.10 (40) at Narrandera Sportsground. Griffith started strongly with a seven-goal opening quarter and from there the result was merely a formality. Griffith coach Adrian Pavese was pleased the Swans put a team to the sword for the second consecutive week.

"It was pretty good, our first and second quarters were pretty strong," Pavese said. "It was pretty good actually; I can't remember the last time we won a game by 100 points. "We held our structures pretty well and it was good to get the result." Guy Orton kicked five in a strong display, while Will Griggs, Jordan Iudica, Jacob Conlan and Toby Blissett all impressed. Reece Hutton was again very good for Narrandera in a losing team. (By Matt Malone - The Area News, Monday July 17, 2017).
