Media report - By Jimmy Meiklejohn: Turvey Park finished the home and away season with a strong 56-point win over Griffith at Maher Oval. Although a little inaccurate in front of goal, the Bulldogs always had the contest under control, eventually securing a 12.18 (90) to 5.4 (34) win over the Swans. Bulldogs coach Dylan Morton was happy with the effort from his side, as they notch up their 12th win of the season. "I was pleased," Morton said. "We had several blokes stepping up, I was pleased to be getting a win."
Morton, Jesse Margosis and Tyler Cunningham were among the eight omissions for the Bulldogs heading into round 18 clash against Griffith. Ahead of a do-or-die elimination final against Mangoplah-CUE next Sunday, Morton confirmed there were a few players who were precautionary omissions from the team. "There was a lot of precautionary stuff," he said. "There are a few blokes who are a little bit sore and niggly, the result this week doesn't change where we would finish on the ladder. "We thought it'd be silly to risk injury to those players."
Harry Stapleton finished with three goals while Luke Fellows, Will Voss and Judd McLeod were among Turvey Park's best. Morton praised the efforts of Fellows, noting the midfielder's class was on show in sometimes tricky conditions at Maher Oval. "He was really good," he said.  Source - The Daily Advertiser, Thursday August 21, 2025.
