Media report - By Jimmy Meiklejohn: A strong start proved pivotal for Turvey Park as they claimed a 26-point win over Mangoplah-CUE in the elimination final. With their season on the line, the Bulldogs got to work early at Narrandera Sportsground, booting six goals in a strong first term showing. Ahead by 27 points at the first change, a further four goals in the second term had the Bulldogs ahead by 41 points at the main break. An improved MCUE outfit got control of the ascendancy in the second half; however, the Bulldogs were able to counter and eventually they ran out 14.13 (97) to 10.11 (73) winners.
Turvey Park coach Dylan Morton was delighted with their win which sets up a fascinating contest next Sunday against Ganmain-GGM. "I was really proud of the boys, there's a lot of chat and a lot of niggles out there and for us to worry about playing footy, that's what wins finals. That's what I'm most pleased with." With MCUE's season on the line, Morton said.  He wasn't surprised to see the Goannas respond in the third term. "They've gone in at half time down by 40 points, they've just got to throw the kitchen sink at it," he said. To their credit, they came out firing and I thought we didn't match their intensity."  Morton agreed their early dominance was key and revealed he knew pre-game his side was on the right mindset to fight for their season.
"I could tell before the game everyone was focused, and they were here to do a job," he said. "We went out and started well, at quarter time we reset and then we had another really good quarter. "It just really sets you up in finals I think, if we were to let them hang around i the game then they just would've stuck around. For us to start well and get the jump was really important."

Morton though Ethan Weidemann was fantastic. "He kicked a goal and gave us some really good centre domination in there. Luke Fellows was good. Fordy and Andrew Emery were really good down forward, they worked well together and put the scoreboard pressure on, which hurt Mango." Source - The Daily Advertiser, Wednesday August 27, 2025.
