GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" September 13, 1997 - No. 24 

The Seniors started well but were overwhelmed by a barnstorming 10 goal second term by Temora. This left the boys playing catch up football for the rest of the day, and although they narrowed the margin, the end result was a loss and the end of the season. The better players included Anthony and Phil Pavey, Danny Baxter and Brett Davis. Congratulations also goes to Gary Argus on kicking his 100th goal for the season.
Today the 2nds battle it out for a spot in the Grand Final so best goes to those involved.
Socially, do not forget the following dates. Sat 11th October is the Swans Auction, any inquires please contact Ian and Barb Wade or Ffiona Beverley. The Presentation Night, Friday 24 October at the Ex-Servicemen's Club, all players and supporters are invited to attend.
