SWANS CLUB NOTES: Riverina Football Record September 17, 2000 - No 23.

WELL, it's that one day in September that we all want to take part in, the Grand Final. After a very long week leading up to the Preliminary Final, the Reserves came out and showed their true colours, over a very determined Turvey side.

It was tough battle and a very exciting finish having our supporters on edge right to the last minute. On the field it was a splash of old & new, with Chris Conlan, Shane Ruyg and Greg Dreyer leading the old brigade, while David Dunn, Rodney & Michael Duncan got the youngsters fired up.

Peter 'B1' Hunt and Luke 'B2' Irons never stopped tacking all day, while Trent 'Grumpy' Bradley ran all day. Everyone worked hard and this week they will have to work even harder again to overcome the Tigers who no doubt will have the weight of Wagga on them after GGGM eliminated their First Grade. Good luck to Adrian (Pavese) and his team, let's bring that Cup home!!

Also don't forget our A Grade netballer's will be in for a real 'ding dong' of a game against Coolamon.

Good luck girls let's win and enjoy the celebrations.

Congratulations to Phillip Rowston on winning the Jim Quinn Medal against some much-fancied opponents, well done Rowdy.

Everyone is invited back to the Exies for a drink. Good luck all. Let's bring it home!!! Go Swans.
