Match report: Collingullie Wagga are through to the Riverina League grand final after defeating Coolamon by 32 points at Narrandera Sportsground. Sam Stening led the way with seven goals as the Demons secured a 12.13 (85) to 8.5 (53) preliminary final victory. The Demons didn't have it all their way through as the Hoppers kicked the first three goals of the game to open up a 16-point lead nearing halfway through the opening term. Stening had his first two before the end of the opening term which saw Coolamon take a one-point lead into the first break. Stening had another two to open the second quarter before the Hoppers hit back through Jack Rudd to reduce the margin back to single figures. Three straight goals to the Demons had them ahead by 23 points, before a goal to Jamie Maddox just before halftime brought the margin back to 17 points as they hit the sheds. Four goals to one in the third term saw the Demons further extend their lead as they went into three-quarter time ahead by 37 points. A goal to Harry Wichman early in the last extended that margin out to 44 before late goals to Aiden Macauley and Rudd saw Coolamon finish the game 32 points behind the Demons.
