GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" August 13, 1995 - No. 18
Well, application, dedication and being part of an united team on the training track certainly plays dividends on the playing field. Now that the business end of the season is fast approaching, how far we go as a club is dependent on everyone having a red hot go on the training track and the results will come as they did last week against EWK.
Under 18's started the day off in the right manner with a good win. The Area News Incentive award winners were Kevin Collins $20, Gavin Simpkin $15 and Dwayne Ashcroft $10, other good players were Glen Vaccari and Steven Serafin.
The 2nds also had a good win despite Fatty's antics during the warm up. Maybe it should be done every game as he certainly cleaned up, the $20 bet and the $30 in the incentive awards, other incentive winners were Richie Telfer $20 and Rod Best $10. Ian Geddes certainly had the ball on a string and was the Players Player award winner while Myles Bunn was the Mugs next victim.
With a full list of players against one of our best sides put on the paddock this year. Incentive award winners were $100 Shane Ruyg, $50 Chris Conlan, $30 Daniel Tuohey, $20 Tony Butcher. Others good players were Phil Rowston, who was the players player & 'Swampy' Davis, Matt Kenny, Greg Collins and Gaby Weetra.
This week its Collingullie at the Exies Oval, so let's keep up the good work.
