GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" May 14, 1995 - No. 6

Back on the track with 3 wins against North Wagga, all we need now is the return of the injured players and things will really start to go our way.
Gary Argus coached the Under 18's and they responded well having a convincing win. The Area News incentive award winners were Matt Olney, Norm Campbell and Dwayne Ashcroft. Other good players were Kane Duncan and Dean Leask.
The 2nds had a second win for the season and with Griffith's version of Plugger (after a two-year diet) leading the way, they won it in convincing style. Brad 'Hammo' Hammond only needs to repeat his 10-goal haul again this week and he might find himself heading the goal kicking.
Some of the players helped as well and they were Adam King, Richie Telfer, Malcolm Burke, Tim Whitney, Ian Geddes and Scotty Collis. Incentive winners were Kingy $30, Telfer $20 and Scotty Collis $10, while Tiny and Hammo won the Mugs.
The Seniors came away with the win, but it wasn't in a most convincing manner. Maybe with the return of some players our playing style will improve. The incentive award winners which the Supporters Club sponsored this week were won by Greg Dreyer $100, Dean Jamieson $50, Matt Kenny $30 and Tony Butcher $20. Other good players were Phil Rowston and Gary Argus.
The Netball girls played an 18-goal draw with best players being Rachel Dreyer and Kim Barber.
This week it's East Wagga -Kooringal so let's help Owen Geddes celebrate against his old side.
