GRIFFITH NOTES: "Riverina Football Record" May 5, 2001 - No.4 

A great day for the club last week. Six out of six wins on the board is the first time for the season and definitely won't be the last. We would like to thank Mim and Kevin Rowston for sponsoring the game.
The Seniors started off a little sluggish, but after half time managed to put through 20 goals which was a fantastic performance for the team, bringing up their first win of the season. There were some great goals kicked by the team and it was good to see them run out the game. Dave "The Single Man" Curran will be out for a big night at the Exies main club when he uses his Exies Dinner for two. The Snuggle-In towel goes to Jamie "Soon to be Daddy" Bennett who will be nice and dry after training this week. Phil "Plugger" Rowston will be building Kirsty a lovely present with his Donaldson's Mitre 10 award. That thing Kaine "Am I in Love" Malone likes to call a car will be given a make-over compliments of Ron's Auto One. Then maybe everyone else may call it a car. McDonalds will be the order of the day at the Duncan's this week thanks to Michael "Snap a goal" Duncan and his great game. Jon O'Dwyer wont have any trouble getting to school this week with his fuel from McNabb's Caltex Petrol. To be continued ....
