SWANS CLUB NOTES: Riverina Football Record May 2, 1999 - No 4.

THE Seniors battled hard all day (against Narrandera) and had their chances to win but did not make the most of their opportunities. We really need to grab our chances and make the most of our opportunities we give ourselves.
The awards were sponsored by Quiprite and they were as follows: The Ex-Servicemens's Club dinner for two was won by debutante Scott "The Rocket" Rawle, the Snuggle Inn Towel was won by Jake "Eddie" Maguire, the Warren Lowry Voucher was won by Mark "the H" Hildebrandt and the McNabb Fuel Voucher was won by Paul "Bugs" Eyles. Best wishes from everyone at the Club goes to Matthew Waide who suffered a serious shoulder injury last Saturday.
The Reserves battled hard but cost themselves with a poor second term. The awards were as follows: The Players Player Mug was won by Tony "I like it like that" Butcher, the Billabong Bottle Shop was won by Grant "Mr R & B" Kelson, the Warren Lowry Award was won by Simon "not Bob" Spiers and the Griffith Laundry Service Award was won by Jason "I only train pre-season" Maskell.
The Under 18's played very well to hold off a strong opposition. Keep up the good work boys. The C & P Griffith Express JDs Pizza award was won by Dom Giorgi, the Trevor Harrison Towel was won by Luke Jasprizza, and the C & P Griffith Express Socks were won by Simon McClure.
A top night was had by those who attended the 70's Night. Thanks to Kelly and helpers for organising a great evening.
