SWANS CLUB NOTES: Riverina Football Record April 29, 2000 - No 4.

Last Friday was not only 'Good Friday' for everyone, but it was also exceptionally good for the Swans as we defeated the Goannas in all grades to start a festive long weekend. Let's hope we can continue when we travel to Temora. Thank you to Brian Hammond who sponsored the game last week which the Club values his support greatly.

In the Firsts, the Exies Dinner for Two went to David 'I wish my voice would crack' Curran while once again Phil' It's getting closer' Rowston was in the awards with the Snuggle-In voucher. Kane 'smoking' McGregor walked away with the Donaldson's Mitre 10 award as well as Dean 'She's away' Jamieson who took out the Ron's Auto One award. Another McDonalds voucher we'll be keeping Michael ' Do you think I'm better as a redhead' Johns popular at school while Matthew 'Special' Kenny will be filling up with the Caltex Petrol voucher and last but not least the Players Mug helped make a 5 a.m. start hard for Shane 'The Butcher' Russell.

Reserve Grade handed out a fair hiding to Mango in a good display of the clubs depth this year. Paul 'Kane's Apprentice' Kite shouted the boys on the hill with the Billabong Bottle Shop award with Chris 'I can run 50 metres' Files took out the Autobarn award. Myles 'Hilly's got my girlfriend' Bunn will be shouting his brother a Big Mac of two on the way back to Goolgowi with the McDonalds voucher while Paul 'Socceroo' Crowe will be helping out at home with the Griffith Laundry Service voucher. Shawn Conlan had a great game to take the Players Mug head on in which I think the mug won.

Shane 'Supergoose' Ruyg boys once again impressed at home with a good win, let's hope they can repeat it this weekend. J.D's Pizza will be delivered to Sanders Street as Daniel Best won the party pizza award, Michael Bortolin will be visiting McDonalds with his award and Ben 'Bob the Builder' Ford won the Video Ezy award with an outstanding game.

Our Netballers won both grades due to Mango not fielding teams.

This week's game is sponsored by Kevin & Mim Rowston and the Club would like to thank them for their support. Don't forget all the players will be back at the Exies-on-Burrell if you would like to join them for a drink and a laugh while they contest 'Celebrity Head' night leading into the Reverse Draw which is on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Good luck to all grades today, let's come home with another win in all grades.
